Now that you have identified a funding source, you should submit an internal Expression of Interest (EOI). This triggers UniSA research service and support and allows Deans of Research/Institute Directors oversight and endorsement of research activity. Log in to myRM then select Project Forms – New Project Form – Internal EOI. Complete as much detail as possible and submit. A fully developed proposal or budget is not required at this stage. When your internal EOI is endorsed for application development you will be connected with key support staff in the UniSA Research Office.
Contact the Research Projects Development Team for assistance with eligibility, grant and funding application development, compliance, approvals, and submission.
Research Coordinators: the key interface between Academic Units/Institutes and the UniSA Research Office and the primary contact for queries related to the UniSA Research Office research services and support, research funding opportunities and strategic research activity.
Grant Developers: specific support including mapping and planning the approach to the application; assistance with “the pitch” and narrative development; review and editing; polishing and refining readability of the full final draft application. Access support via the internal EOI.
Grant Application Support Officers: expert advice around eligibility, funding guidelines, compliance and submission of competitive research grant applications.
Research Funding Officers: expert advice around eligibility, funding guidelines, budget development, compliance and submission of contract research funding applications.
Industry partners, intellectual property and commercialisation: the Enterprise Partnerships Unit can assist (staff login required).
There may also be staff based in your Academic Unit who can assist. Please contact your Dean of Research/Institute Director for advice.
