Register for the first Get Wanderlost event
Looking for something to do this break? Join us on Tuesday 22 September for our very first Get Wanderlost mystery activity event to fuel your sense of adventure!

For $15pp (food + travel covered), you can register to come along to this mysterious event. We'll give you the date, time, and meeting point and the rest is a surprise for you to discover on the day.

Here's a clue for the first event:
Yo ho, yo ho! A pirate's life for me. Through laneways and prison bars, we'll meet the seven seas.
Look here, what's that beneath the surface? A secret for now but wear something fit for porpoise.


Tickets are limited, so round up some mates, bring an open mind and Get Wanderlost!

Nominate for the 2021 USASA Board
There are 14 Board positions available, including President, Postgraduate Student Representative, International Student Representative, Aboriginal & Torres Strait Islander Student Representative, and 10 Campus Representatives (two per metro campus and one per regional campus).

Join the USASA Board to:
- Develop confidence & leadership skills
- Network with staff & students
- Increase your employability
- Receive professional development
- Assist with events
- Give a voice to all students
- Gain experience on Boards & Committees
- Participate in University decision-making

Nominations close at 4pm (ACST) on Friday 18 September, with voting open in October.

Have you ever wanted to immerse yourself in the world of virtual reality? UniSA staff and students are now able to experience virtual reality as part of UniSA’s Industry 4.0 Testlab. Try your hand at VR games and series including Beat Saber, Google Earth VR, theBlu and more!

Location: MM2-05, MM Building, UniSA Mawson Lakes Campus
Opening hours: Monday–Friday, 9.00am-5.00pm
Price: $10/hr per person (UniSA staff and student discounted rate)

Magill Campus pool to remain closed for 2020-2021 season
Due to the impact of COVID-19 and government restrictions and protocols, the Magill pool will not be reopening for the 2020-2021 season.

We will continue to monitor the situation and, in the meantime, you can still visit the swimming pool at City West Campus' Pridham Hall. We apologise for any inconvenience.

Learning Advisers can provide study and assignment assistance to help you achieve your academic and professional goals. They won't edit or proofread your work for you but will help develop your self-editing skills and grammar know-how.

Whether you have questions about academic writing and grammar, or maths, accounting, statistics or referencing – you can get one-to-one help from an adviser for free with Studiosity. Services include live chat options and assignment feedback reports.

Need an Access Plan for exams?
If you believe you will require adjustments to your SP5 exams to accommodate the impact of a disability, impairment, or chronic health condition, and don't already have a current Access Plan, you can chat to our team about your options. Check if you meet the criteria for developing an Access Plan and learn more by visiting the Access and Inclusion website.

To be eligible for an Access Plan in time for the SP5 exam period, you will need to book an appointment with an Access and Inclusion Adviser before Monday 28 September. Please note, requests for adjustments after this date may not be considered for the SP5 exam period.

Doing what you are passionate about, more often than not, is an authentic way to produce tremendous work with a labour of love. Applied science graduate and avid mountain trail biker, Nick Bowman, is proof that you can turn your passion into a fruitful and successful career.

Nick started his own trail design company, Destination Trails, after working in roles promoting sustainable mountain trail bike opportunities around the country, sharing his knowledge and skills to design world-class trails. Now, Destination Trails crafts thoughtful mountain bike trail networks to enhance and complement the iconic Australia landscape – all while 'crafting journeys into nature'.

Your Culture, My Culture Cultural Immersion Series: Part 1 Vietnam
Thu 17 Sep 5pm-6pm
ONLINE EVENT

In collaboration with ISBS Vietnam Chapter, we'll be introducing you to the wonders of Vietnam. We'll discover Vietnamese cultures and customs, traditional festivals, food, and language, along with a virtual tour around Vietnam by a local. We'll also be giving away some Vietnamese goodies!
