Celebrate International Day of Happiness with Clare Bowditch
To celebrate International Day of Happiness, UniSA presents a free online event,
'A Playful Way to Tame Your Inner Critic' with Clare Bowditch.

In life, there is so much we can’t control. One thing we do have some say in is the stories we tell ourselves about our lives, and which ones we’re going to choose to believe.

Using story, song, and the latest research from the field of neuroscience, Clare will put on her coaching hat and teach us what is one of the world’s most powerful techniques for developing our ‘Inner Champion’, while taming our inner critic.

Clare Bowditch is a best-selling ARIA Award winning musician (Best Female), Logie Nominated actor (for TV Show Offspring), Best-Selling Author (for her recently released memoir ‘Your Own Kind of Girl’ which this presentation is inspired by), experienced speaker, MC, and broadcaster.

Come with an open mind, heart, and questions for Clare. Leave with a spark of happiness, which we encourage you to pay forward!

Do you have an ethical conundrum?
Ethos is a place for conversations about future-focused, ethical issues relating to research, technology, and our society. The forums take place four times a year to discuss the intersection of ethics and society, with each conversation focused on an object as the starting point for discussion.

MOD. is currently looking for some help to decide the Ethos Forum topics for 2022. Are there any ethical conundrums that are plaguing you? Tell us about your ideas for a topic for the chance to win a MOD. prize pack.

The competition closes 28 March 2022 and our first event will take place on Thursday 29 April.

New year, new global experiences!
Passionate about sustainable development goals and want to make a real-world impact? Consider participating in a UniSA Global Project in 2022.

You’ll get to work in multi-disciplinary teams, with students across Australia, on real-world industry projects designed to make a positive social impact. You’ll also discover the culture and society of your chosen host country and region.

All projects are supported by the Australian Government’s New Colombo Plan (NCP) funding available to cover costs for eligible students. Global projects can be undertaken in-country or virtually depending on availability. With Program Director approval, successful completion can also count towards an elective course in your degree. Meaning you can also get ahead in your studies.
