Video Conferencing Tutorial Room (AV24)

This is an AV24 Audio Visual system. Suitable for tutorials, seminars and other similar spaces. A variant of the AV23 Tutorial Space, featuring a HD projector, 100" projection screen, speakers, installed AVPC, and BYOD HDMI connectivity, all controlled using a wall mounted button pad.

Additionally the AV24 features a wireless microphone system and camera enabling video conferencing.

Use

This design is suitable for the following use:

  • Viewing capacity of up to 40 seated participants.
  • Discursive and didactic teaching with a dedicated presentation location.
  • Support for Zoom, MS Teams & other software video conferencing platforms.
  • Media playback with installed speakers for audio.
  • Installed AVPC for use by UniSA staff.
  • BYOD connectivity via a HDMI connection.

This design includes the following AV equipment:

  • Full HD Laser Projector (instant on/off)
  • 100" pull down projection screen
  • Wall mounted AV control pad
  • Installed AVPC
  • Mobile, height adjustable AVPC monitor cart (tethered to the teaching location)
  • BYOD HDMI connection point
  • Video & Audio processing
  • Installed speakers (to suit room)
  • IR hearing augmentation

Optional changes to this room design include:

 Touch-screen LCD display

  • Replaces the projector and 100" projection screen.
  • Commercial 86" LCD display with glass touch screen.
  • Mounted using a height adjustable wall bracket allowing better reach of the touch screen.
  • Equipment can be mounted behind the LCD.

Ceiling Microphone Array

  • Replaces the wireless microphones system with an intelligent in-ceiling microphone array for audio capture.
