Microsoft Azure Dev Tools for Teaching (ADT4T) for UniSA Students

Azure Dev Tools for Teaching (previously known as Microsoft Imagine Standard and Premium) is a subscription-based offering for accredited academic units and departments providing access to tools commonly used in science, technology, engineering, and math (STEM) programs.

It provides professional developer and designer tools, software, and services from Microsoft to your faculty and students. It includes our latest technologies and cloud services to inspire and excite students. And, it provides educators a diverse set of resources to ensure their classrooms challenge, engage, and motivate students in new ways.

All students at UniSA have access to Azure Dev Tools for Teaching, as long as they adhere to the following guidelines:

  • Azure Dev Tools for Teaching is available to all students. Some aspects (Lab licenses and Operating Systems) are only available to STEM-focussed instruction. Please check here for the full terms and conditions.
  • The software must be used for instructional or research purposes.
  • Students may enjoy unlimited usage of software for the purpose of developing their learning and research efforts. The software is not to be used to run a business or for ventures that drive commercial profit.

Microsoft Project is included in Azure Dev Tools for Teaching. Assuming you use the software within the terms specified above, you may access and use the software.

Most of the Azure Dev Tools for Teaching software is only compatible with the Microsoft Windows operating system.

The exceptions are:

  • Machine Learning Server (Linux)
  • Microsoft R Server (Linux)
  • Visual Studio (Mac)
